Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) and Privacy Policy (“Privacy”)

Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”, “Terms and Conditions”) and Privacy Policy (“Privacy”, “Privacy Policy”) carefully before using the http://www.healthpromotioncanada.ca  website and the My Mobile App mobile application (the “Service”) operated by Health Promotion Canada (“us”, “we”, or “our”).

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.

By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.

Purchases and Donations

If you wish to purchase any product or service made available through the Service (“Purchase”) or provide a Donation (“Donation”) to Health Promotion Canada, you may be asked to supply certain information relevant to your Purchase/Donation including: your name, work/home address, phone number, credit card information (“Personal Information”).

Any and all Personal Information you voluntarily provide is protected under the provisions of Canada’s federal privacy legislation. If you make a Purchase/Donation to Health Promotion Canada, your Personal Information information will be handled with extreme confidentiality.

Memberships

Some parts of the Service are billed on a membership basis (“Membership(s)”). Once becoming a member of Health Promotion Canada, you will be notified annually to renew your Membership(s).

Content

Health Promotion Canada wants information to be disseminated as widely as possible. Our Service allows you to post, link, store, share and otherwise make available certain information, text, graphics, videos, or other material (“Content”) for use in gatherings and trainings, to cite our research and information in letters to media and/or politicians, and to share Health Promotion Canada materials and resources with like-minded networks.

We only ask that you please do not use Health Promotion Canada materials and resources for commercial purposes, and that you cite Health Promotion Canada as the source. For example, please do not sell our publications (unless by specific permission) or attempt to pass them off as your own intellectual property. If you do reference or quote Health Promotion Canada’s work, please indicate the precise source.
